People don't read, listen to, or watch advertising. They pay attention to things they are interested in and only sometimes does that include and ad. The purpose of an ad is not to entertain, it is to compel.
Any communcation... an ad, direct mailing, website commercial, or a billboard... is not an important part
of a persons life.
So it better be relevant
and have impact.
